Recipe of the day -1- Mango smoothie

Mango Cooler

Ingredients

• 1kg raw Mango
• 1 cup powdered sugar
• Salt (to taste)
• Rock Salt (to taste)
• 1 teaspoon crushed Peppercorns
• 2 teaspoons roasted Cumin powder
• 2 teaspoons ground Mint leaves
• 2 Lemons
• Mint leaves to garnish
• Drinking Soda as required

Method

1. Place the serving glasses in the refrigerator to be chilled.
2. Wash, boil , peel raw mangoes and extract pulp.
3. In a pan mix the raw mango pulp, sugar,salt, rock salt and water.
4. Cook on high heat for a minute. Add crushed peppercorns, roasted cumin powder and ground mint leaves. Stir and cook for two or three minutes.
5.Remove off the heat and pass the mixture through a sieve.
6.Cut roundels of lemons for decoration.
7. Coat the rims of the chilled glasses with a piece of lemon and dab them on a bed of salt.
8. Pour the prepared drink into glasses. Top it with chilled soda.
9. Garnish with a sprig of mint leaves and a lemon wedge and serve chilled.

interesting recipe.....does the smoothie taste spicy with all the pepper and cumin in there?

nahi i am not out of my mind as of yet thanks to allah my mind is in perfect condition secondly rock salt is "to taste" read again, don't like it don't add it

some ppl will have different taste bud then urs so if its "ewwwww yukkky" for u it might be "delicious" for some
