Alright, an extremely limited cook here but I figured I'll make my contribution.
For one cup lassi, place 4 table spoons yogurt into a glass. With a fork, beat the yogurt for one minute. Add water up to the top of the glass. Add one teaspoon salt or two teaspoons sugar, depending on your mood.
Voila!

luc this is RAAITA not LASSI recipe lassi is the yoghurt drink and raaita is the stuff you eat with your meal, like with chawal.
TUMS, i would say ur recipe is fine, just add two pinches of salt rather than one teaspoon though.

Plain Lassi
Ingredients
3 cups thick curd
3-4 ice cubes
1 tsp salt or 3 tsp sugar (depending on if you want sweet or salty lassi)
Water
Method
Crush the ice cubes in the blender.
Add the curd, water and salt/sugar.
Run the blender for about 1 minute.
Serve chilled.

I agree....How can you have lussi without sugar. Its a travesty.
Sweet lassi is made from yoghurt.....whereas salty lassi is made from the milk water that is separated from cream while churning butter.

Cold salty lussi's are a delight on hot summer days! (then again ANY cold drink is a delight when it's hot)
Turkish ppl drink a lot of salty lussi's (they're called Ayran (?) I think) Maybe that's why I kinda like em. You can buy them anywhere here.

So much water in your lassi!! Are you trying to make kachi lassi?
2/3 glass yogurt, the rest milk, beat it, and add salt to flavour. umm, butter milk's good too.
