n for a change, why dont u straighten ur hair, it will look diff, a good creamic flat har iron will be good..
or if uu have wavy hair, then wash it, put some frizz ease on it, let it dry a bit n jus put a lil bit of gel an run ur fingers thru it..

Why not get your make up professionally done before the mendhi so that you know what colours suit you and what make-up styles suit you?

teeni, with offwhite dress, assuming, its a day time function, try wearing neutral colors like peach, pink etc. They look nice in summer time especially. I just got a quad-cream-shadow from Maybelline and I love it!!!Its light colors but kinda glittery (not chum-chum wala glittery!). You could wear mascara with that. I know how you look with eyeliner so I am not going to suggest (sorry had to say it!)
Are you going to wear make up on mehandi function??With dark green dress , darker browns would like nice, especially with your skin tone. I know you wont overdo it , so I am not worried abt that.
With your hair, a friend told me about perm solutions, preferably with a conditioner. And then you could use the flattening iron. You should try straigtheing it and then wearing it open : it will look real nice on you me thinks, MaashaALlah.
Good Luck and dont forget to take pics for me!!

teeni, you wont necessarily appear "kali" with ligh colors. Trust me on this one! The Maybelline eyshadow i mentioned above, those are really nice light colors. But yeah night time, you should wear something darker. Browns look nice on olive skin most desis have and you can never go wrong with those!!
