BBC Food is my fav channel. They present ordinary food in such a way that it looks very good. Any one tried making any stuff from cooking programes? If yes how it turned out to be ?

YOU will teach me about cooking??? I already know all there is to know! Emeril is too boisterous and just gives this weird, cold, impersonal look.

Ok ! Enough is enough.
Now in each and every cooking programe they must add some wine or champagne(bloody spelling are too messed up) or whisky or rum in food.
Why they cant make some food without putting all these sharabs. Ok I know some dishes require some wine but not each and every dish. Last night in that programe cheff was making some chocolate mix with cream and eggs. Ullu ke pathey ne usmay bhi whisky dall di .
Also they use pork meat most of the time. Why they prefer it. Is it cheap ?. I dont have problem with that, I asume it to be beef

Pork is pigs meat
I dont think you'll be able to eat it..
Why don't you jus cut out the bits where they add alcohol and try the recipe without it..

And mutton is lamb meat
The trend of putting liqour in every dish is new, earlier they use to put it in only selected dishes

cat-woman,
You make strudel?
I think easier to make with frozen puff pastry sheets rolled out.
I can't make that dough by hand.
My fingers always poke holes in the dough.
