Cooking is fun even if you can't cook - What I enjoy most is when I'm asked to cook something, like when my brother calls me up on the motorway and says, baji biryani khani hai and sister wants pakoRe for dinner, I just want to fly home and go straight to the kitchen. Just to hear them say ke I'm the best baji ever I can make 'em say that too, but this is more civilized method I guess
So here's what a made a few weeks ago, biryani was too strong for my bro but he still ate it and said it was good. I seriously wanted to protest against this food colour, but if I did the shopping I could be allowed to have a say PakoRe aren't my specialty either

Dunno why I can't cook aloo-gosht the way it's supposed to be. I mean mine is okayish but not like my Ammis. This has to be the most difficult desi dish ever, anyone can learn the fancy stuff but for aloo-gosht you need skills. This combo looks wierd but sis insisted on bhindi, so

and yes.. i agree with u.. aloo gosht is a difficult dish... its meant to have that distinct look to it... teh ratio of shorba and garam masala must be just right... ... mine just ends up lookin like any other normal saalan :s
p.s)i forgot to compliment u on ure dishes.... they look very yummy indeed...

I don't take eidi from girls younger than me. But there are other ways of returning the favor. So, how do you plan on giving me an eidi?
