Please tell me the exact measurements and ingredients to make pakoras.
I need to know before ramadan, so that I can perfect my pakora making skills.
Thanks.

i never measure when making pakorey; usually you just take about maybe a handful of besan (wheat flour) and mix water in until its like the consistency of tomatoe paste, or little thicker. then you can put like sliced potatoes, eggplant, onions, etc in it. my mom even adds shrimp sometimes (i dun really like it, but my bros are in love with it). and you just deep fry and enjoy.
pakorey with soda? can you please explain more.........i mean how you make it and is it like meethey pakorey or something?

Just want to clarify: besan IS NOT wheat flour. Besan is actually gram flour.

Besides carbonated water, I've used Eno which does the same thing I guess. The result is fluffy and lighter pakoray. I like to add potatoe, onion, peas, chicken, salt and spices and ofcourse basin. I don't measure. It's the Desi way, just eyeball it and estimate. You really can't fail. Then just deep fry.

Just add a pinch of bicarbonate of soda.
