Tomorrow it will be pancakes.
This morning I ate enough to last me a week. I'm still not particularly hungry.

Yesterday I had a cheese omelette. It takes about ten minutes to make and it's berry berry good...with that melted cheese inside...mm'mm good.
Save Pakistan.

Sehario, recipe? (and I mean your recipe.)
It's so hard to eat in the morning. And my parents won't let me have cereal for sehri.
Fayz, sorry, I couldn't be of any help, but are you surprised? :-p

Paratha. Ammi won't have it any other way, I am pretty sure now that I get my notorious glare from her!
We usually scramble a few eggs and the salan from night before.
p.s. what's kajla pehni ?

kajla is like savaiya... u put them in milk and eat em...
pehni is like dry pooris... u break tehm up and put em in milk and eat em
u also get sookhi jalebis... its the same batter for regular jalebis but they arent dipped in the sheera... so tehy arent sweet.. u also put them in milk and eat em...
all these are very fattening and thus.. filling...
kinda like desi cereal

Oh ceebs it's not fancy shmancy but here it is nonetheless:
Cheese Omelette
-chopped onion (or chopped scallions if you wish)
-chopped green and red bell peppers (i like the red and green for color )
-red chili powder to taste
-salt to taste
-a little bit of pisa hua sookha dhaniya
-eggs (depending on how much you want to make)
-slice of kraft singles (velveeta is awesome!) cheese
Mix the onions, peppers, and spices separately. Beat the eggs in a bowl and fold into the onion/masala and mix together. Heat a little bit of oil on low flame and pour the mixture in so that it forms a pancake shape. Let it cook slowly on side on low flame so that when you flip it, it won't break. Flip the omelette and cook on other side...and then flip back and lay the cheese on one side of the circle and fold over the other side so that the cheese is completely covered (now you have a half a circle)...let it cook for a few more seconds so that the cheese melts. By this time you should have your wheat bread alread toasted and ready to go, with a glass of OJ...and there you have it. Life's good

8 rozay gone and I havent felt hungry once during the day so Im sticking to this menu of mine:
Every morning I eat the following for sehri:
1 x bowl of Crunchy Nut Cornflakes
2 x Brown toast lightly buttered
1 x half boiled egg
1 x cup of tea
1 x glass of water
occasionally I add
a couple of biscuits
a croissant or something similiar
My cousin who eats 3 parotay daily complains of hunger about 1pm every day but still insists his diet is better than mine.
He told me that he would never eat the above food!

Usually left overs from the night before. Everyone in my family insists that I MUST eat one roti no matter if I am hungry or not It is so hard to eat at 4 in the morning :crying1:
I like the pheni stuff - it is light on my tummy and doesn't leave me hungry.

left over salan of the night before and saadi roti.
plain roti is better then a paratha in the morning, atleast I dont have a heavy feelin . so no makhan in the morning.
(ps: I lost one kg in the first ashraah, that does say something about the sadi roti init )
