bad desi food

there has been a lot said about desi food and how good it is, which i agree with 100%, but after two days of bad desi food, lets say mediocre to absolutely horrid, I wonder why the lame cooks have to resort to loading food with ghee and mirch to cover up for their lack of culinary skills.

one was at someone's house, his wife is a pretty bad cook.
but that shahi nehari place...damn their buffet is horrible..mcdonalds would have been better

it becomes worse during ramdan for us fraudz... there's this woman who has been sending us iftari everyday since ramdan started (very nice of her).. and it goes straight from the door to the dustbin... horrible horrible food... kitna gunna kama liya hoga humnay

some other ppl have been sendin iftari too and again.. absolutely horrible food...

then we went to this well known desi eat out place.. usually have great food.. but yes again... horrible horrible food.. its like all of a sudden ppl have forgotten how to cook

maybe they are not making their usual good food b/c, since they have rosa and all, they can't taste anything they make during day and all. I know i had that problem with like ras malai and the how much sugar to add since i couldn't taste to make sure.
