Ok so i've got this really antique looking jewlery set made of silver (from my mama's good ol' times) say about 40 years old.

And then I have this liquid solution which is supposed to shine up old silver like brand new.

So I dipped the necklace in and it did wonders.

Then I dipped the ring in --- but it went black!! (I guess maybe b/c it isnt pure silver?)

Does anyone know how to shine up silver thru a home made solution or something b/c Eid is coming up in a couple of days and I've gotta match this with my outfit!

Help.

Toothpaste always works. It's only temporary though, so go ahead and try it the same day you're planning to use it. Do remember to not use a gel toothpaste though 'cause you'll just be wasting your time.
