Hiya all,

I am having a Eid/Chand Raat dinenr at my house tommorrow evening.. There are about 10 people coming. I am worried that I am not cooking enough food....so someone help!!!! Here is my menu


Ghosth Korma
Dhai wala Chicken - a really dry not much masala kinda chicken..
Chana Masala
Dhaal
Potato Cutlets
Chicken Pot Pie
Salad
Naan
Rice - Boiled rice with green,red, yellow peppers

Dessert

Chocolate cake - that I decorated with roses and stuff
Pineapple Cheesecake
Date Dessert - Three layer arab dessert

Well thats it....so what do you think.. I have been thinking of adding Koftay to the menu so the food will be enough....good idea/ bad idea??

Thats a lot of food for ten people. But yu have good variety so you should be able to satisfy all of the tastebuds.

GB, honestly that sounds like quite a bit of variety, so I wouldnt worry much, unless you are inviting gamma-pehlwan sort of people who eat more than normal people do
I wouldnt mind you sharing that recipe of arab date desssert with us though

Thanks everyone, I think I will just leave the menu as is....

Ira here is the dessert...it is sooooooooooo easy and tastes so yummy..

First layer- Graham cracker crumbs mixed with a little sugar and butter...

Second Layer - Cut soft dates into fourths

Third layer- Condensed milk and on top chopped walnuts and almonds..

Just lightly press all into a greased pan. Bake at 350 for about 15-20 mins until condensed milk caramlezies...TAke out cool and ENJOY!!!!
