How many of you plan what you're going to wear the following day from the night before?
I can't go to sleep unless I know that my outfit(s) for the following day are all laid out ready to wear........it means getting extra valuable minutes in bed in the morning too.
However I have just been laughed at for doing this. I can't be the only person who does this?

I can't sleep without having planned the next day in my mind the night before. Having picked an outfit saves me a good twenty minutes of staring at my closet the next morning, even if at the end it means throwing on a pair of old jeans with a hoodie.
Don't worry, you're quite normal.

Phew!
I also put my tops on the radiator too during the winter so they're nice and toasty warm when I put them on.

I usually don't worry much about the outfit as I do about my hair, ugh hate the girls that are born with naturally straight hair. Boo.

Starsky - Nearly all blokes I know do the same thing, right down to my husband and his obsessive-compulsive self.
I don't. I've tried but somtimes when I wake up, I have a different mood and the things I laid out aren't right then I hunt until it matches my mood. How crazy is that?

for the next day? are you kidding me! I can't sleep on Sunday night until I have clothes all dry cleaned and ready to wear for the whole work week. In my closet, six feet of real estate is dedicated to 5 pants, 5 shirts, v-neck, underwear, socks, belt, and shoes. But that's it. I don't worry about what I wear otherwise. But work clothes have to be tip top and ready to wear.

Crikey, and there was I thinking I was the only one Thank God. I'm just not the type to put on any scruffy shirt and go to work. It must be selected with a matching tie, nicely ironed and ready to go...

for people who have day jobs, you folks are disturbingly disorganized and inefficient. learn to use time saving strategies like only buying clothes of a few shades so that you dont waste time daily wondering what to wear (for eg, all my shirts are shades of pink, lavender, purple; pants are all black, dark gray, dark blue). own only a single tie, a single belt, and just one pair of shoes.
also, train your nose to administer a good sniff test on shirts. cardinal rule when it comes to pants - unless theres a spill, whats the big deal. wear them till you are bored of them. these two alone will save your precious clothes from the brutal wrath of laundry machines and detergents.
as far as underwear goes, i cant comment as its against my religious beliefs. never wear socks, they are deathtraps that make me slip inside my shoes.
