I don't realy like fruit. I'll eat it once in a while, but I'm not a regular, apple a day kinda girl. But I know I need to change my eating habits. So is there any alternative to fruit?

Nothing really compares to fruites Sara...they are full of nutrients, vitamins and enzymes which are very essential for good health and keeping good weight as well. I would suggest that you visit a large grocery store and try different kind of friutes. Maybe there are some which you have never tried before and you might like them after you taste them. I eat strawberries, paches, apples and grapes a lot. But i am sort getting sick of them now myself so i buy a huge pineapple every weekend, cut it and save in fridge...its lasts few days. I do the same with cantaloupes sometimes.
If you are looking for other option, what about dry fruits? You can buy dry apples, prunes...actually a good variety of dry fruits can be purchased from bulk store and they can be lot easier to eat as well...no mess.

Sara, there's no alternative to fruits but if u cant have the "solid thing" then why dont you switch to juices? Or what about shakes n punches?

U can also have fruit yogurts once in a while....

Try cutting out everything else. I used to hate fruits as well but one day I threw away everything non healthy from my fridge. Now I am forced to eat raw fruits and vegetables. But you get used it and start liking it. I don't know if this is for real or not but once you regularly eat only extremely healthy food, your body can't digest anything else? Try it.

Oh, and honey! If I don't like a fruit (like apples), I drizzle honey on it.

Although just to play devils advcate here, fruit juices and shakes are more calorific and don't contain the fibre that you would get from eating the actual fruits.

How about fruit kebabs?

How about fruit suppositories, I hear they are all the rage in LA and Doncaster.

You get all the wholesome goodness of the farm in one easy to insert pellet, me I prefer mine as God intended in a smoothie with my muesli.

have you tried vegetables.
cherry tomatoes, mini gerkins, baby courgettes , fresh small radishes with a spicy yogurt dip.
alternatives to fruit is chocolate.
and crisps, both from veg sources and high in energy and very good for you.
