My daughter coloured my hubby's desk using a black pen marker. Anyone know how to remove those marks ? I have used some water and paper towel and scrubbed away but its not coming off.

Any other technique ??

^ thats what I was going to suggest too. you can also try some wood polish similar to desk's color. you can find it in a h/w store.

white spirit is like paint remover? If all else fails just sand it down first and revarnish but you'll have a very uneven finish on the desk.

Hairspray should do the trick...I have used hairspray to remove ink many times!
