you take a fish, clean the guts then cut it into small pieces and eat it.

well....i dont have much info honestly....
but there's like sushi for those who have just started eating it and dont have the stomach for the raw kind....e.g california rolls( cucumber, rice, imitation crabmeat, seaweed), shrimp tempura (i luvvvv this one! batter fried shrimp and rice and seaweed...)
then there's the raw kind... with usually a chunk of raw fish (salmon, tuna, yellow tail) on some rice.......
and then there's stuff i dont think i will ever eat like eels and just caviar sushi....

I have had a bite of sushi after one of my gora colleags insisted that I try it. I tried but I couldn't swallow it. I had to run to the rest room to quickly spit it out. That was my only exposure to it, the first AND last time.

nooo nooo calif rolls have no fish... just imitation crabmeat.
HOWEVER sushi (esp with its sticky carb laden rice) can have as much as 50 calories or more per piece! so beware!
