Change in weather calls for a change in awhole lot of things...from our moisturizers to our garb to perhaps shifting home decor.
1. Do you transition into each season with changing/shifting home decor? if so, share your nifty ideas
Recurring measures around our nest have included : playing around with table center pieces, window settings, paint, chage of area rug and usage of warm colors and a selection of soft fluffy fabrics to welcome that autum cozy feel.
2. Apartment populace: how do you deal with such "creativity" confines? and wat are some tricks you have up your sleeves that are nifty enough to pass by big bad management?

the only transition that happens at my place is that, the Climate Control nob gets shifted from the AC to Heat, and vice versa.

lol. frontier_charm u might want to lighten up on the use of difficult english. this is a paki forum and these gals definitely did not go to berkley.
i dont even change the knob from AC to heat like sharaabi. cuz the climate control is automatic. it is a pain cuz i dont know how to operate it... my place is freezing in the mornings for some odd reason. oh i do get my bed sheets changed from satin to cotton in the winter.

hahahaa... besan and pakoray the medical mysteries of these are wrapped in an enigma which i plan to unwrap someday. so will let you know when i find out pumpkin doll. the thermostat is complicated as hell... its apparently programmable by each day of the week and by hour. i miss the good old mechanical thermostats.
sara, why wont ur mom let u get satin sheets??? they are a must in the summer.

choice of bed sheets too is linked to marriage for us proud pakis. i love it. everything really is..besan and pakoray have nothing on this new conundrum.
apparently use of satin sheets is a lavishness/opulence or extravagance saved for the "marriage bed" in our culture.

yes it's true. u jazz up ur look cuz it's a treat for ur man. u jazz ur bed or bedroom up cuz it's where ur man treats u AND it's a treat for him. you see how this flows...? it's a much deeper problem.

Why do I get a feeling that frontier charm is lollypop man buttering himself up?
As for the seasonal transition, besides the thermostat change, usually the thicker curtains come out, electric heaters for the basement cos heating just isnt enough, not much changes to the decor really.

Well it was 82* here yesterday and I think today is also the same. Although we did have our pilot lit on our heater by the gasman, heat is off right now.

so the bigger question here is since not much "seasonal transition" takes place, doesn't your home begin to look dull?
p.s. Femme Fatale and sara . i'm no lolly man. he's a rugged gem and i a genuine girlie girl obsessed with soft leather shoes, sparkly charms and things besan and pakoray. i do wish lolly's lazy bugger butt would defend me and let the GS ladies know i'm a girllllll. koree, larki, chica
