sunset eyes, also to make any cake look pretty, I use the Williams Sonoma rose cake pan or bundt cake pan. It makes the prettiest mold, and the cake looks beautiful when it is done. Just make sure to use Pam baking spray, so it doesn't stick when taking the cake out of the mold after it is done baking.
This is what the cake looks like when its done using the rose cake pan...

Interesting! Am very bored with making cakes in a round or rectangular cake tins. So baking them in different shaped cake moulds sounds beautiful and the pic looks so gorgeous. It looks very appealing but if I make them in these moulds, I wouldn't want to eat them....prob will preserve them and stare at my artwork...
As i am residing in UK, where would I be able to get these cake tins Creme Brulee? Any ideas or am i pushing my luck?

Sunset_eyes, you can probably find these molds at specialty kitchen goods stores. I'm not sure about places in UK, but I'm sure you can find different varieties of Bundt cake pans (these have pretty designs too) if you can't find this rose one.

you can get silicon type cake moulds which look like they are made from rubber...
Mywish and sunset eyes, try a large supermarket liek sainsburies or tesco in the homewares section, Robert Dyas, Debenhams or even the internet
I saw them at Tesco's once and somewhere else...I forget where..Ill try to remember
I think the Rose one was out just prior to valentines day in woolworths
