How do you like your salad? I am sick of the same old ranch and italian with garden. And I like greek at special occasions only cuz its so damn fattening and the low-fat stuff just doesnt taste the same. I love light balsamic vinegrett(sp) with any kinda salad. Sometimes I add crutons, beans or even pieces of chicken or fish.
I was gonna try blue cheese dressing but I couldnt cuz it looked like it was OIL. Although blue cheese is yummm but it adds alot of fat to an otherwise healthy meal so i usually try to stay away from cheeses, I love em though
I loved raspberry vin and that was pretty good too but I dont see me eating that too often, its one of those once in a whiel thign cuz you gotta have it with nutty salads.
I sometimes love eating salad the desi way...tomatoes, onions, raddish, cucumbers, lettuce with lemon juice and chat masala
What do you add to your salad?
Q. What do you get from a pampered cow?
A. Spoiled milk.

I make mine exactly the same way. For the salad itself i use lettuce, grated carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, garbanzo beans, kidney beans, dill pickle, olives, bell pepper etc. Just toss with olive oil and lemon juice and season with salt and pepper.

I dun like salad. It's far too healthy to taste good.

You know what else I do, I get the dole salads, spring mix it has spinach, baby lettuce, all kinds of greens and mix that with garden salad and it turns out good. Normally i could never eat spinach and all those greens but with the mix i can and it tastes pretty good!
I gotta try just teh balsamic vinegar, i think i have some

Well I always get my salads from those buffet places like food emporium I usually add romaine lettuceor iceberg lettuce.. tomatoes, either sliced or those tiny lil cherry tomatoes i think they're caled.. sometimes chick peas, definitely grilled chicken if theres any there, if not, ill add a tiny bit of chicken salad.. i lov to add sesame seeds if there's any, as well as lil bits of croutons..always topped off wiht a spoonful of fat free balsamic vinegar or italian dressing
As u can c, my salads aint that healthy
