How do you make parathas? Ive tried before and they don't seem to turn out good. How do you get them really flakey and round shape?

Balanced

One trick is to put ghee inside instead of oil, and sprinke with some khushk aata before you fold the dough and make layers.
Let the paratha cook properly from both sides then put oil.
While frying keep it rotating in circles.

Relaxed

ditto to what Sadaf said about the sprinkling with ghee and khuska. I make my parathas this way and they turn out pretty good- crispy layers and all.

I'm gonna have a heart attack just reading this thread. I occassionally make the frozen parathay for my daughter. My mom used to make the best homemade ones. They were loaded with Crisco shortening.
