I got this recipe of the internet, and the dish tasted alright. Maybe guppies here can suggest minor adjustments with the ingred or share one of theirs recipe.

1 pound steak
1 teaspoon five-spice powder
1 tablespoon dark sesame oil
1 1/2 tablespoon minced, peeled gingerroot
3 cloves garlic peeled and minced
2 cups sliced, seeded red bell peppers
2 cups sliced, seeded yellow bell peppers
1/2 cup no-salt-added beef broth
3 tablespoons lite soy sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
4 cups thinly sliced bok choy
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
1/4 teaspoon salt

Slice steak diagonally across grain into thin strips.
Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat; add ginger and garlic and stir-fry 2 minutes. Add beef and stir-fry 4 minutes. Add bell peppers and stir-fry 2 minutes.
Combine broth, soy sauce and cornstarch in a small bowl. Add to beef mixture. Add bok choy and cook 1 minute or until bok choy wilts and mixture thickens, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat, and stir in toasted sesame seeds and salt.

Dreaming

Mushrooms are also yummy in stir fry.

I also like to keep a bottle of a marinade/stir fry sauce handy.

stir fry sauce is good....also black bean sauce adds some zest to the stir fry.

it tasted kind of bitter and i think the dark sesame oil had something to do with it. i might give virgin olive oil a shot next time around. will also try mushrooms and bleack bean sauce too. thanks
