Any one know how to make it? My mom's kinda forgotten the recipe, and my dad isn't sure about it.
All I know that milk is involved in it. But when is the sugar added? Do you wash the sagoo daana? Etc. etc.

Best recipes are prepared when you conduct experiments in Kitchen...Just do it..sagoo dana...milk...sugar and heat them all..use any sequence for the first three and it is ready to serve to guinea pigs

I wish i could...except i'm the guinea pig
Ok I think i got the recipe:
basically goes like boil the sagoo dana in water under it goes transparent. meanwhile, boil milk and sugar, according to taste. like if you want it thicker use less milk and vice versa. And then mix in the sagoo dana.
I'll let you know how it turns out when i cook it

first you have to soak the sagudana in water for like 1 hr then put on the flame, and boil in water. Then add milk
I used to make this thing for my son when he started solids.

My daughter loves sabudana...and yes I did google search on it and lots of info and recipes came out.
I soak 2 tbsp in water...5 mins and rinse it out 5-6 times so a lot of starch is washed out.
Add quarter cup water to sabu dana and when it starts to boil add mils about 1 and half cups or so (depends on how thick or milky you like it)
Bring to boil and add sugar, pinch elaichi and saffron. Simmer and let it thicken to your taste.
QUite yummy.
You can also make several savoury dishes...as I said google it and you will get lots of recipes.
