I like the Special K (cereal) Diet - two bowls a day for two weeks - it definitely works!

I like wieght watchers, altough I dont do it anymore coz dont have time to go get wieghed and have a meeting. The best way is to eat lots of food on regular basis so ur body keeps burning the calories, but eat good food. Typical breakfast for me is 2 toast with orange spread (the wieght watchers own make is good), plus a piece of fruit and make sure you drink water too, then mid morning snack fruit or cuppa soup (ainsley harriot veg soup is good), Lunch jack potato wi beans or tuna/ veg pasta/ plus yoghurt (activia peach one is nice, and good for your digestive system too), Then another snack around 3oclock such as carrots/fruit/crisps, then evening meal grilled fish or chicken with veg and sauce such as parsley sauce or dil, not cheese or cream based sauces. chicken fajitas are good too, or meat free bolognase with spag (if you get quick cook range spag from asda it has less cals and satuatred fat than normal spag for sum reason), and then I have a light snack around 8 or 9. My diet lacks meat becoz i dont like it, so i make up fot it with fish. Ooops Iv gone on a bit, but hope this helps.
Ps. you must take regular exercise to lose wieght and maintain it. I like to walk.

carb intake is not bad in general, it's important to get the right carbs which will in fact help lose weight, as opposed to the bad carbs (those that are highly processed, like sugar, white rice, etc). I suck at diets; been trying for years, always find myself digressing. The only that does work somewhat horizon472, and only because you mentioned carbs, is that if you are cutting carbs, don't cut out altogether. I did it where for one meal, i ate regular carbs, either rice or breads with whatever else I wanted. If you deprive yourself for too long, you'll find yourself going on a binge soon. I still do it that way, and it helps to at least maintain the weight; losing is a different issue altogether. I finally gave up and got a personal trainer to give me the push to go forward. Exercise has always been the cure for me.
