I make the stock by boiling chicken pieces in some water, salt, pepper, garlic and ginger and some vinegar. Let it boil and reduce to half.
Strain the stock, shred a few chicken pieces and keep aside.
Add creamed corn from 1-2 can depending on how much stock you have, and boil until it mixes well.
Take 3-4 tablespoons of corn starch, mix with cold water until it dissolves, then slowly add to the boiling soup. Stir well and reduce flame to medium. Your soup should now be the desired consistency. Adjust cornstarch or water accordingly.
Then add one beaten egg slowly and separate with a fork as soon as it drops in order to get the strings. Turn off, add shredded chicken. Garnish with green onions cut at a slant.
Don't forget to keep soy sauce, green/red chilli sauces and green chillies in vinegar on the side.
Happiness often sneaks in through a door you didn't know you left open...

The green chillies in vinegar make any soup taste good, that stuff is addictive.

Try adding chicken karahi masala to your chicken soup.
