I have some decorative bamboo sticks. The spiral one is getting yellow near the top. It still has new green leaves at the tip. But I was wondering, should I do something about this yellow patch near the top or leave it alone. Should I cut it off?

I've the same thing with same problem.
I do change its water often....but i was wondering if i should place it at some more airy place....it gets enough light...but not much fresh air, i think. i wonder if that even matters. gotta try.....

I thought I was the only one capabale of killing something as low maintenance as a bamboo stick. 2 of mine died. The lady selling them at this store suggested that i add a couple of pennies in the vase and make sure they were in a place with sunlight coming in, not directly on the plant though. Try cutting it off, it'll die in any case, this way at least u might make a discovery!

I have killed a cactus ... now thats as irresponsible as you can get.
I know that you believe that you understood what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

^ Thats like drowning a fish!
When I die, I want to go peacefully like my grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.

Cheegee yar, apparently they do need dirt. I mean they could have mentioned it on the little sticker
I moved it into a bigger pot and ran out of dirt, some of the roots were uncovered, it turned out to be fatal.
