it was Delicious!!
it was hyderabadi biryani & don't know exactly what the "salan" was
i think it was tandori style (tangy&spicy) chicken breast pieces.....i hadn't quite had something like it ....it was tooO good!
have any of you made something like Or close to it ? it didn't taste anything like the tandori paste chicken does
p.s. i got it from our local meat place and on rare occasions they'll have homemade food sO that's whY  and YeS i ate all them green chillies

funny cuz i was thinking "muniya has the same dinnerset" when uploading  i'd noticed it when u had posted some pics in your journal a few weeks back  but didn't wanted to declare another "coincidence"

there's a phase i go through (one atm) when i get tired of eating apnay hath ka khana ...wish mom lived closer  oR had more desi restaurants near by

i ate hyderabadi biryani first time on my sister's walima(her hubby is hyderabadi)...it seemed to have alot more ingredients in it, lots of nuts and whole spices....was very yummy....that salan on top is chicken 65
