My question: isnt yogurt suppose to get dissolve in the masala throughly? I see white smear kind a thing

Yoghurt is a must for chicken tikka masala dishes....

U can either marinate chicken in spices/yoghurt and grill or roast as a starter. Or you can marinate chicken in spices (home-made is defntly way better) and yoghurt and heat oil in pan, add slice onions, once onions cooked add crushed garlic, ginger, fresh tomatoes, dash of water, then add marinated chicken and cook for good 20-30mins - add dhaniya and green chillies and serve!
