Yo guys,
Dinner parties/Dawats is the topic here!
If anyone of you are interested in dinner parties, what dishes do you guys make? I am quite fed up with making the usual Kofta salan, aloo salan, chicken salan with either Palaow or Biryani etc.
I want to present variety of dishes on the table. SOmething that will make other people say WOW...
Desserts would be good too...Thank You.
Now Scoot!

I would make a variety of cuisine - pick a few from the following as starter, main and desert:
1) Chicken Chow Mein (noodle dish)
2) Meat Pasta
3) Lamb Chops
4) Grilled Kebabs
5) Masala Steak n chips
6) Southern Fried Chicken n chips
7) Dhokra
8) Mini kebabs on skewers
9) Chicken tikka on skewers
10) Spaghetti Bolgnese (desi style)
11) Lasagne (either meat or chicken version)
12) Fish curry
13) Feerni
14) Falooda
15) Trifle
16) Apple Crumble with custard
17) Frozen ready-made Gateau
18) Chicken and egg fried rice

20) Masala fish (home-made)
21) Chicken Tortilla Wraps
22) Chicken Vol Au Vents

I like to do things a little different, sometimes Ill serve fajitas and ill do its buffect style, where yu have a choice of chicken, beef or veggies, then i lay out all the toppings so everyone had their own fun making their dinner..
Ive done that with pasta as well, laid out the cooked meat, veggies and sauces, and their pasta choice..and i will quikcklymix it up and serve it..
i do alot of thai dinner parties
always been a huge success
