Here is a tried and tested yummy recipe for zeera chicken - try it and tell me if you liked it...
Ingredients:
1 Whole Chicken/chooza (chopped up)
3 Onions
Few large tablespoons of oil
2 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 teaspoon red chilly powder
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder (haldi)
1 teaspoon of tomato puree
2 fresh tomatoes (diced)
Large pinch of zeera
2 or 3 Bay leaves
Pinch of Mustard seeds (raiy)
Pinch of Fenugreek seeds (methi)
1 - 1 1/2 teaspoon of Crushed garlic
1 teaspoon of Crushed ginger
Fresh Dhaniya (chopped)
5-8 Green Chilles (sliced)
Method:
Heat oil in pan, add onions, heat until golden brown in color - add few drops of water then add crushed garlic, heat until goldenish in colour, then add washed chicken pieces. Cook chicken on med-high heat for approx 10mins until chicken is sealed, then add bay leaves, zeera, fenugreek seeds, and raiy - heat for a min or so then make masala by adding red chilli powder, salt, haldi, tomatoes, ginger and tomato puree, heat and stir well for approx 5mins - then add 1/2 cup of water and leave to simmer on low-medium heat for 5mins- then add green chillies and dhaniya - and serve!
Hope u enjoy it!

isnt chooza too young for this dish
