need some help. anyone got any tried and tested recipes for a tasty, spicy pasta (any sort)?
got a small family get-together next friday and was thinking of some fusion dish.

We make a spicy Pasta Bake dish at dawaats - which goes down very well....even with the elders in the family who are more your traditional nihari/biryani eaters......
It's very easy.....
Cube some chicken breast and put into a saucepan with 1tbsp oil, green chillies, a little ginger and garlic and some salt......when almost done, add to it some dhania powder and red chilli powder and one chopped firm tomato and one chopped green pepper.
When chicken is done....mix it into boiled pasta shells...add some red pasta sauce (we use a spicy flavoured one). turn this out into a oven dish and add a little white lasagne sauce over the top, sprinkle with cheese and dried hers and bake till golden brown. cut into portions and serve with salad
Trick with this recipe is not to overdo the sauces as it'll go soggy
Just add or mix normal cooked masala or keema/chooza saalan/mix veg/any cooked haandi on top of the cooked pasta or serve as a sauce.
It tastes lovely & desi type for any aged taste buds in the house!
