Ingredients
Unsalted roasted slivered Almonds – 1 cup
Pie Crust – 1 packet
( available in super market and grocery stores - baking isles )
Butter – 1/2 stick
Brown Sugar – 1 cup
Water – 1/4 cup
Dried cranberries – 1 packet
Directions
Warm up half of the butter stick.
Add the pie crust gradually.
Keep stirring until the mixture begins to thicken and turns its color into darker brown. Add brown sugar. Mix and then add slivered almonds. Stir. When the soojee is completely light golden brown, turn off the stove.
Replace the soojee in a flat pyrex dish.
Garnish with cranberries.
Serve hot or cooled, with tea.
