it is not peshawari kehwa, it is peshawari/kashmiri chai.

Kehwa is without milk

The peshawari qahwa or chai is used on a regular basis in peshawar. People there drink it after every meal and in between meals as well. It's supposed to help you digest and lose weight if taken every day.

I supposed the green tea you get in grocery stores serves the same purpose. The pink tea on the other hand I thought was also called kashmiri chai or so I heard.

i thought green tea was no caffiene/herbal tea

kashmiri green tea is the normal black tea but it is not processed or is not aged which makes it green.

desi version of any chai, though is tasty but its extremely unhealthy.

p.s the more u experiment (boil/cook/or watever) the dangerous the tea (herbs) will be.
p.s. green green tea (not green (pink) tea)) is healthy.

pink tea is the kashmiri chai that is mostly made during the winters. People prefer putting salt and cream in it, some ppl like sugar too but its tastier with salt.
