Oh yeah baby....
it tastes soooo good!!! I was so pleased with myself...tastes even better than the one bought in shops! You can see the pista and the illachi...yummm!

Pix - i cant cuz its in a big metal tub!
Recipe - ok!
Big tub of Double cream - i think 600ml
1 can of evaporated milk
1 can of condensed milk
7-8 ellaichi and pista - crushed into powder
2 slices of white bread - made into crumbs!
Mix altogther - and freeze! No sugar BUTTT it tastes oh so nice! Its mouth watering!

yummy- i also found an italian pista cream- it is fresh pista cut up and put in a cream for desserts/ice cream. used that and it was AMAZING

sunset eyes yes indeed!!! that turns out good--someone had given me that recipe but just regular kulfi not pista and what i did was mix pista and badaam in it and before pouring it on whatever dish layer the dish with almond, coconut powder and pista mixture and then pour when you serve it and take it out it would be topped with that mixture.

i found it at a gourmet italian shop- unfortantly when we moved my husband threw it out and i didn't write down the brand  now can't find it online at all.

dam it, whats the difference between evaporated and condensed milk´?
dam it coz we here have german names and its sometimes difficult to find the right thing.

evaporated milk is sth from which almost half the water content is removed and its not sweetened.it comes in cans and its consistency is almost just like milk.
on the other hand condensed milk is also sth from which water content is removed,but its very sweet(because of the added sugar).it also comes in cans ,but its consistency is very thick and sticky.
i have tried the same recipe for kulfi.and its so easy and so yum...!!!...

i think u can get the milk from the regular grocery stores.here,in the US we find it in the aisle which has coffee/creamers/tea etc.check it out....!
mix it all in the blender till all gets mixed up and smooth.

Just mix it even with a whisk and freeze it! Its so nice but can get addictive! High cream content!

do u mix 3-4 time while the kulfi is in the freezer, like u would do with parfait??

When i made it, i jst put it in a deep steel dish and froze it which i shouldnt have done as its difficult to scoop it out! I didnt need to stir it but you can after couple of hours to evenly distribute the nuts etc...
