I bought One chicken today make "karahai" left it on the stove.
after finish fasting, I wanted to eat chicken. I started putting salan in plate. I swear it had four legs in it??????

The butcher might have given you couple of separate chicken legs instead of a whole chicken! Chicken legs are less expensive then whole chicken ! So just relax and eat it matey !
So how much they charge ya for a whole chicken up there?

Its much cheaper then buy cooked food.
I started cooking not too long ago so I dont have much experience buying chicken from some where else.
And NO It was one whole chicken no extra legs.

 you made me laugh out loud knockout artist. You know sometimes the upper wing part (connecting to the shoulder ) also looks like the leg wali boti, a smaller version and not so meaty but they look somewhat alike. You sure it was an actual leg piece? or maybe it was a hybrid murgha. maybe a clone gone wrong?

yeah when I think about it, 2 legs were smaller then first 2 I ate.
Yeah and less meat too.

yea like here they charge 3.75 for small whole chicken and 4.50 for bigger one . Leg pieces are like 1.25 per head
And students or lads livin on their own prefer to buy legs pieces as they are less expensive ; but i like some whole chk  Karahii achi bante hai !

in canada whole chicken(halal) cost about 7-10 depending on the size.

wow i got chicken breasts the other day for $4 sumthing a pound! 
and boneless meat for I thin 4.95 a pound...why is halal meat so expensive
