Where I can found peri peri sauce in Chicago area, either in desi grocery store or in local american stores.

Make it yourself. I make mine at home.
Put all the below ingredients in the blender and blend it into a sauce.
One medium Onion
5-6 garlic cloves
half a cup of white vinegar
a spoon of soya sauce
Kashmiri Mirch 4-5 pieces
Gol Lal sabut mirch 2-3 pieces
Kuti howi mirch Half a teaspoon.
Salt - to your liking.
Depending on how hot you want the sauce to be you can increase or decreaste the quantity of Mirchain.

^ i tried this just a min ago and it didnt turn out nice at all  it did smell lil bit like the peri peri sauce but tasted nt good  . It was my 1st time tryin out any recipe and i was so excited abt it

lol really?? works out fine for me, even ummez tried it and it turned out good for her.
maybe you didnt add the right kind of mirchain
If you dont use the correct types of mirchain it'll not turn out the same

Kashmiri mirchain I have no idea how to explain, they are dried mirchain that kinda look like fresh chillies in shape.
The 3 types of mirchain play a very important role in the peri peri sauce, if you dont use them and just put laal mirch powder then forget bout it, its not going to work.

COCO use 2 of each of the gol and kashmiri mirchain and half a teaspoon of kutti howi, taste the sauce if you think you want it hotter than add more

We call 'em spikes, Ive run out of Kashmiris otherwise i would have taken a pic and posted.
If by bullet you mean the gol sabut dried laal mirch used for tarka then No.
I duno what you mean by rocket, explanation please!!

isnt peri peri a special pepper that is grown in south africa.. hence the name..
i think id rather get the real stuff..

Yes Shinoo they are called Kashmiri Mirchain in Desis and Peri Peri Chillies in Portugese
which form the main ingredient of the sauce, the other round and kutti howi mirchain are to give it more flavor
