On the other hand.
Drink water before meal help contracting stomach muscle.
Hence ppl have smaller tummy.

well if after then wait for like 30 mins or so, till you mouth start getting dry a little.
But its important you drink it before.
I guess 2 out of 3 time our brain miss read thrust as hunger. So drinking water before take care of that part. And we only eat what our body requires.
Having said that mostly mid night snacks are miss read signals too.
We should try some water instead.

Drinking water during and straight after meals interferes with digestion. Wait about 20 min after meals. The only drink I believe is OK with meals is yoghurt based...like lassi

^^
dat's strange cos ive always heard that lukewarm tap water or normal'ish temp tap water helps aid digestion and helps u lose weight. and also drinking water before a meal usually helps weight loss as you dont tend to over-eat..

Thats different, Drinking icy cold water helps in loosing weight not digestion.
The body burns calories in warming the cold water to the body temperature. Not too many calories though as exercise.

Yeah lukewarm water aids digestion...but recommended 20 or so min after meals.
Dont know much about ice cold water...I avoid unless its too hot

you are both correct
learned this in my health and nutrition class several yrs ago
drinking cold water gives your body a metabolic boost because it has to work hard to warm the cold water you just put in it. This takes a lot of energy ....in order to do this your body has to break down fat and foods to release the stored calories. hope that makes sense
lukewarm water suppresses your appetite because it makes your body think it's fuller faster. Lukewarm water stabilizes blood sugar which prevents you from having food cravings.
hot water detoxes the body by flooding your GI Tract causing the muscles to contract which in turn release toxins. this release of toxins help promote weight loss as well.
