What can a guy take to work everyday that - does not smell of saalan / curry
- is not biryani
- is decently filling
- has very minimal prep time.
- can be eaten without messing up your hands
- is a sandwich
- is not pasta / noodles
It'd be great to hear personal experiences from guys. And ladies before you post your recipes please bear in mind that theyre going to be for people with very, very handicapped cooking skills. Some sandwich ideas/combos would be nice too.

u like bologna/chicken loaf/sausages...??
if you do, just buy a couple packs of those, toss em on ur bread, layer with kraft slices, lettuce/tomatoes, ketchup, mustard or watever else rocks ur boat!
if u dont, you could just layer it with the cheese n the veges n sauces!
how do u like salads? get a bag of chopped greens, corn (kernels), olives, cherry tomatoes, croutons, cheese (or watver else you fancy). toss it all in, and pour your favorite dressing on top. dont toss it after u add the dressing, gets soggy n icky. this is my absolute fav lunch-to-go. fills me up n tastes great! if ure a meat lover im thinkin u could also put in some chopped processed meat (like off a loaf or sausage.. in replacement for the bacon bits )
id say all of the above take less than 5 mins to put together. perhaps if you do it the nite before, there wont be no hassle for the morn!
i'd have to say it's all about smart grocery shopping. buy everything processed/packaged/bottled/chopped/prepared...

Salads - as bhenje recommended, I make chickpea salad and add whatever I like. when i do my groceries, i buy lettuce, cherry tomatoes, tinned corn kernels, boiled kidney beans, cheese (grate it and store in an airtight container), pitted olives, organic carrots, cucumber, celery and apples. It lasts me more than a week.
Also sometimes I boil any dal and add it to my salad. The only salad dressing i use is olive oil and cracked black pepper.
Another healthy option is hummus and salad in a wholemeal bun/french roll.
Boil some potatoes/chickpeas and add salad to it.
Make some soup and take it in a flask.
Take lots of fresh fruit.
If you are a cheese fan, grate two diff types of cheeses, finally chopped spring onions and mayo, mix together and use it as a sandwich filling, tastes heaven.

umm tuna/chicken salad? drain can of tuna/add mayo as base. then add maybe green onions/celery/regular onion/boiled egg...and add to a roll.
Buy veggie burgers and keep in freezer..like Boca or Morningstar Farms....and in the morning just pop the burger in the toaster over for about 10 minutes on high and it cooks thru. put on a roll with mayo/lettuce/tomato...etc.
Just buy pre-made salad bags, and each day just add protein to it & dressing and take to work. You can always grill chicken the night before...not too much work.
