Here are a couple of them. What or how have you decorated your homes/appts. What inspired you to decorate it such
Modern/contemprorary
Traditional,
Mediterranean,
English Country,
French Country,
Southwest
Rustic
Romantic
Vintage Retro
Victorian
Pakistani Style (yes I had to add that )
Or A Bachelor/bachelorrette estyle,...meaning function Over Form?
So what is it guys..Mine personally is a mix ...I have different rooms in a different style each. One is contemprorary, another romantic victorian, while another is just plain function...(meaning its a storage area )
P.S Mods if you think this belongs somewhere else please move it

Meditarranean (Moorish)/tuscan and some traditional. You'll see this type throughout our house. I have recently outgrown the contemporary style.

Our decor is very fuctional.
Everything was bought from easy to put to gether and easy to move perspective ..
We have a very comfy leather bench with flip open storage inside .. that we use as our computer chair .. quite a change from usual executive or revolving computer desk's chair
we also have an Ikea cabinet base with roll out drawers for more storage and top of that has a lounge matteress .. that we use as sitting bench/day time bed/stationary storage in our family room/den/computer room
and so on and so forth

We used to have everything wood. That was when we were more concerned about child-proofing the house, function over form, and easy to move. Now with older kids, almost everything in the living room and dining room is glass and extremely contemporary European designs. In the family room its all function. Comfortable recliners, easy to reach side tables and big-screen tv placed at eye-level. Computer room/office is again all glass desks. Bed rooms are in different styes for each kid, but ours is a very traditional four-poster.
We had the option to go Pakistani route with Kalam Kaar etc. I find their furniture extremely beautiful, but very very uncomfortable. Hated every single specimen I saw (at various friends' places). Decided against it. Any furniture we buy, especially sofas etc, above everything, must be comfortable to sit.

eclectic.
my living room looks like a spaceship with starship type enterprise chairs and lights and tape reels rotating.
the dining room looks like an old rustic pub
and the family room looks like the set of a 50's talk show, just liek kramer did to his.
all the house is lit in black light so white shines like anything
from the outside the house looks like a pyramid, and inside its all open floorplan just with a tiki hut in a corner which is the bathroom and a tepee in the middle which is the bedroom.
