What is the general etiquette of washing/ handling them? I got a few non-stickin pots and I'm not liking them very much. Like the food doesn't get stuck or anything, but I'm just used to scrubbing (not like aggressive scrubbing) but just scrubbing-until-you-get-a-gleam kinda scrubbing and these crazy non-stick ones got all ruined. And now I just wanna trash them!

Secondly, anyone has any experience with Lagostina or Cuisinart stainless steel cookware?? I'm gettin married end of this month and I need to get myself some decent pots and pans and obviously they can't be the non-stickin ones!

Calphalon's nonstick cookware is just lovely. I've been using mine for over a year almost every single day and they still look just like new! You really don't need to use too much energy to clean them...just use a regular sponge or a brush and be gentle enough to not scratch the coating, do not use bleach dishwashing powders such as Ajex. Also, don't put nonstick cookware in the dishwasher either, that can damage them as well!

I also have 2 of Lagostina stainless steel saucepans...They're of a really good quality steel, I use them to boil rice and for making tea etc.

if u have scrubbed the coating of those non-stick pans..then do u still use them? i wonder they might be injurious to health without coating...
