no worries...with the amount of load-shedding going on these days...you'll have everything candle-light...from breakfast to dinner to late night snacks. even candle-light washroom visits.

on the bank of river Chenab, newly built chenab(akbar) resort has dining facility, few miles from gujrat city; in lahore u may try 'lemon grass' offering exotic thai cuisine with oriental ambience; 'steak house' in PC lahore offering candle light; newly opened 'dish' restaurant Off MM alam road opposite to coffee-tea & company(alot expensive); fujiyama(japanese) and dynasty(chinese) in avari; kuckoo's den is right opposite to shahi mosque, ambience is good but food is of inconsistent quality and the area is no more of 'not to be seen' type.

kukoo's den is really very nice..i have been there with my hubby for dinner and "seeing" that was just lovely....that big and much congested house is worth-seeing...
u can try cafe-zuok...mei kong in fortress...avari..pc..or any nice rest. in gulberg...depends what ur taste buds want...if u want some desi khana wana then bundu khan is not bad even...also Tabaq..i like alot..
and so far as gujrat is concerned...just before when gujrat comes..there is that very lovely and nice rest. which serves MEETHA chinese food(going over there was our mujboori..)...u can try that as well..the environmetn was too romantic there..very calm and quiet..only me and my hubby were there...phir light chali gaye and candle-light b hogaya...so thats the BEST option if u want near gujrat! :P:P:P

In pakistan we usually avoid romance in summer.
Its just too hot.
