is that moong ki daal ? the one with green chilka

If yes then ofcourse it is quite tasty. It is good for stomach. jitni marzi kha lo thori der baad phir bhook lag jaati hai

No. Its not! Its yellow colour daal like channa daal but a bit smaller than channa. (bigger than masoor).

I make mine dry:

1 cup rice
1/4 cup toor daal
Soak toor daal about 1-2 hrs and wash thouroghly.
Wash rice

Heat ghee and add cinammon and cloves
Add 2 cups water
Add salt turmeric powder
Add rice and toor daal
Cover and cook in double boiler for 50 mins

Serve with kadhi and brinjals
