Amused

Some dishes I knew how to make are mirchon ka salan, biryani, bagharay baingan, shahi tukray etc.

Here is mirchon ka salan recipe, my hyderabadi friend told me that I tried it and the result is awesome,

Green Peppers------------------------- 5-6
Onion------------------------------------- 1 thinly sliced and fried till light brown
Peanuts--------------------------------- 1/2 cup
Coconut Powder----------------------- 1/2 cup
Sesame Seeds------------------------- 1/2 cup
Imli soaked and drained juice-------1/2 cup
Salt--------------------------------------- up to taste
Chilli powder---------------------------- up to taste

Method:

Take oil in frying pan, fry onion and leave aside, remove excess oil from pan and then fry peppers, set aside. Seperately roast peanuts, coconut powder and sesame seeds lightly in non stick pan or tawa and grind them with brown onions.
Take oil add curry patta then add masala, add salt and red chilli powder bhoonify then add pepeprs and imlu rus on top and put on dum for 10-15 min.
Salan is ready.
For making bagharay baingan instead of peppers use baingan and the rest of procedure is the same.

WE NEED BLESSINGS OF ALLAH.

These are not hyderabadi duccan dishes......maybe more towards south..like telugu or madras, tamil.

If you are in Pakistan, there is this show on Masala channel, Lubna cooks Hyderabadi food twice a week.. she makes really good hyderabadi dishes. I have tried few of her desserts and they all turned out yummilicious!!!

Oh by the way, I found a link for you!! You can try her recipes if you like.

hyderabad is in andhara pradesh where telugu is spoken. there are plenty of dishes that combine both styles of cooking.
