My living/Dining room is L shaped. And I'm having a very hard time filling up the empty space by the fire place. Does anyone have an suggestions on how to fill this space up?

rachel mallon - an interior design blog: Design for an L Shaped Living/Dining Room

The link above shows exactly what the room is shaped like. Except the dining table and Sectional couch are vice versa.

Well you can make one side as a dining area and one the long side as a living area.
