Thanks to the brilliant Niksik for this suggestion.

We're asking all of you culinary geniuses to develop patriotic dishes in honor of Pakistan's Independence Day 2008. Dishes must feature green and white cuisine. Give your dish a creative and clever name, post photos, and recipes, and we will vote on the best dish, keeping in mind creativity and Pakistani spirit.

And we don't want 25 matar chawal entries. So be creative!



Please submit photographs and recipe entries by AUGUST 14th. We'll have votes after that point.
