Im not cooking anything on eid day bcos we go to my mums house, where there should b lots of food, usually she makes:
Mutton Pilau,
Tandoori chicken,
Chapli Kebabs,
Meat or Chicken curry,
Roti,
Mint chutney,
Raita,
Salad
Sheer Korma
However the next day Mr Husband Sahib has asked me to make some biryani so he can have his mates round for dinner. I'm still pondering if i really want to do that!

I'm doing an Eid party and dholki for my cousin on Sunday. Here's the plan:
Appetizers
- Baked Brie (this was a huge hit at last year's Eid party) with crackers
- Maybe some fancy punch drink in yellow or orange (hubby is in charge of this)
- Shrimp platter
Lunch
- Chicken ka salan
- Roast beef
- Veggie rice
- Pastitsio (a recipe I found on here and has been very popular -- pasta and keema dish)
- Zucchini tarkari dish
- Aloo chole salan dish
- Some sort of raita with eggplant I think
- Salad with diced: tomatoes, onions, cucumber, bell peppers, olives, garlic, carrots, lettuce, etc.
Dessert
- My favorite flan (I've posted the recipe for this here)
- Ammi's sheer korma (I have asked her to make it )
- Fruits (berries and peaches)
- Ice cream
- Gina's mom's coconut ladoo!
