Hi Massom_se_larki,
Just like you I love Red Lobster's biscuits, and had no idea about the lard/shortening issue in the Bisquick. I thought they would be halal.
Anyhow I did some research on the Internet for you. You can also use vegetable shortening which can easily be found at your local grocery store (example, Crisco).
I found on the Internet what is called a "Bisquick Substitute" recipe. Just use Crisco vegetable shortening instead of animal shortening. After all, you only need 1 tablespoon of it.
1 cup flour
1-1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon shortening
Combine all ingredients and use as a substitution for Bisquick (Baking Mix)
I've posted Bisquick substitute recipe links below for you. You can choose whichever one you feel comfortable with.

So, cheer up. You can STILL make those Red Lobster biscuits

Lard is a no-no because it is ALWAYS made from animal fat (unless you can get it halal). But shortening can ALSO come from vegetables. Other substitutes for shortening include the use of butter and margarine. Hope this helps. Now go make those biscuits!
