How to prepare it?

I'm thinking of mixing one part garden soil, 1 part peat moss and 1 part perlite together, is it good enough for sowing seeds of salvia, Lobelia and Petunia?

Thanks

Can't u get a ready mixed bag of seedling compost from the store? And is it that time already? I plan to grow lavender from seed this year. I bought the seeds 3 years ago and still havent got round to it...

yeah but mixing your own compost is better[there are several ways to make it], i suggest buy new seeds in march to sow for lavender, lavender is harder to growing.
