Mmmmmmm, the soft ooey-gooey comfort of pasta such as baked ziti and ravioli.
I also love Chinese food....mainly the chicken dishes.
And I LOVE sandwiches, shawarma, Quiznos,....YUM.
Not that into Mexican food, but I like the black bean flautas from Tijuana Flats!

Oooh I forgot batter-fried butterfly shrimp in general. But if I want something cheaper and fast, I like the shrimp at Long John Silver's.

I am not a big meat eater but recently, this halal place opened up near us and they have the mostttt amazing cheeseburgers! Their chicken philly cheesesteak is also delicious. Besides that, spaghetti with marinara is anyday anytime kind of meal, love it. Also, I make delicious scalloped potatoes

Sushi, I love! Spicy salmon rolls with extra spicy mayo, crazy monkey rolls, etc. from RA in Chicago. Delish!
I just realized I do not discriminate...Mexican, Mediterranean, Italian, Chinese, Lebanese, Ethiopian, etc. I love them all!
But sushi is at the top of the list...

Have u ever had a good american roast beef with brown gravy, mashed potatoes and green beans???? HEAVEN!!
Sauerbraten, I marinade for 3 days and cook for 6 to 8 hours with red cabbage, mashed potatoes, dumplings. O.M.G.
Hubbys special BBQ chicken...he takes a whole chicken, cuts it down the middle, pokes it with a fork and marinades for 12 hours...then sprinkles with Desi spices and puts in on the BBQ with a weight on top....cooks it, flips it then we cut it into serving sized pieces...O.M.G.
Oven roasted turkey with all the trimmings, esp turnip mashed with salt and butter. O.M.G.
BEST of all....lamb chops!!! Hubby and kids dont like them and they are SO expensive so I dont often get them but O.M.G.
BBQ steak!!! (do I have to say it again)????? O.M.G.!!!!!
ok I think I am turning into a fatty here just even THINKING all the gluttinous thoughts about all this wondrous food lol!! and that doesnt even consider all the YUMMMMM things in the Desi food thread.
FEED ME!!!!

I make all of those dishes myself once in while except Sauerbraten , never had it , never tried to make it. My kids love me when I make any of those specialties.
We once in a while enjoy rack o lamb at Outback Steak , which they make out of certified halal lamb meat.
