I'm in search of a humidifier for a bedroom, it has to be quiet. What's the difference between cool and hot mist? any suggestions or experiences with certain products? Oh, and I don't want to spend more than $100. TIA

hot mist are quieter. get one which you put water in that way you wont be buying all those replacement filters.
