It depends what kind of recipe you're looking for. Desi or non-desi? Here's a non-desi recipe for a tater-tot casserole. It's a simple recipe which is time efficient and cost efficient. And kids especially love it.
Ingredients:
1 bag of tater tots
1 can of green beans
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
cooked keema.
Procedure:
1. If you don't already have cooked keema, you'll have to cook some. I like to refry cooked keema with finely chopped onions and lots of black pepper. Put the cooked keema aside.
2. Drain the can of green beans (or buy the frozen pack). In a frying pan with a couple of table spoons of oil, lightly sautee the green beans. To the green beans add the cream of mushroom soup and stir. To this mixture add salt and pepper to taste, chili powder or paprika, and soy sauce. Stir the mixture until it's smooth. If the cream of mushroom sauce is too thick, add a cup of water and stir until it comes to a nice sauce like consistency.
3. Take a baking dish. On the bottom, put the keema. Then on top of the keema, pour the green bean/mushroom soup mixture. The over the top of the green bean/mushroom soup mixture with tater-tots.
4. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. And bake your dish from 40-60 minutes.....or until you see that the tater-tots on top are golden brown and completely cooked. Check by tasting a tater-tot.
^ Noticed you live in manchester. So, I'm not sure if you'd have tater tots in England. Tater-tots are just short frozen fried potatoes. You can use frozen hash browns (fried potato patties) or frozen french fries. And you can also sprinkle cheddar cheese on top of the dish.
