so I love bagels, and I always take them double toasted. Whenever i buy a few in bulk , n try to toast them at home in the toaster oven, they get tooo crispy and hard-to-bite into. What can I do to eat my tim's bagels, exactly like they do it... at home?

You can't. See, its the added sweatiness of their palms which ensures the right amount of crunchiness!

what does double toasted mean? Oprah mentioned that she likes her bagels that way too on her show a couple days ago and I was wondering what that meant.
it's the heart afraid of dying, that never learns to dance; It's the dream afraid of waking, that never takes the chance; It's the one who won't be taken, who cannot seem to give; And the soul afraid of dying, that never learns to live.

hmm cool suggestions guys. I think the problem is more with the fact that the bagel gets toasted on both sides. I don't store them in the fridge, but before popping them in the oven toaster, i microwave them for like 15 secs.
A commercial bagel toaster only toasts the bagels on the inside.. and given that I like em double toasted, perhaps I really should play with the oven settings. I wonder if they sell those commercial bagel toasters for cheap for household use...
