So guys share your healthy salad ideas please.. i'm very dumb when it comes to be creative in the kitchen and as the summer is just around I CAN'T eat anything cooked esp desi khaney! I have to live on salads/juices and shakes. Once in a while I have pasta or something of this sort but most of the time I just can't eat anything so can you give me some salad ideas please?
I just use whatever veggies I have and mix olive oil+vinegar+brown sugar toss and that's it my salad is ready.. I'm so tired of this now but I can't think of anyother thing.. also please keep your ingredients simple so I can easily get them here.
Thanks

You can vary the ingredients in your salad. For example you can add chick peas, kidney beans, diced egg, diced potato, shredded cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, olives, cucumbers, bell peppers, carrots, croutons, sunflower seeds, etc.
You can even add diced chicken, pasta to your salad. Add different types of cheese and dressings. Here are some low-fat salad recipes:

I just made this amazing healthy salad, like a Greek salad. Romaine lettuce, sweet grape tomatoes, crumbled feta cheese with basil and tomatoes, carrots, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper. It was delicious.

lately i have been having romaine lettuce with carrots, feta cheese, turnip and seasoned croutons with italian dressing.. so delicious! i also tried au bon pain's tuna salad recently with field greens, green peppers, feta cheese and ranch dressing.. it was SO good! i made it a couple of times at home and added chickpeas to it.. also kidney beans at times.. and for a kick, apples! thats the best thing about salads, you can mix and match so much stuff, it will always turn out great. also, my hubby's aunt makes this amazing 'african' salad.. it has lettuce + veggies of your choice, raisins, chickpeas, kidney beans, walnuts and a few other things with very light dressing on top.. and a bit of olive oil.
Choose your battles wisely.
Not everyone is worth wasting time over.

I find them gross when raw.....and even grosser when cooked. I'm not a fan of sweet-tasting veggies.

I'm not a fan of turnips either, however I can bear them sometimes when my mum makes a dry curry with them.

I take Salads to work almost everyday. At your local grocery store but these things called "chow-mei" there like fried noodles. Thats something no one has mentioned yet. Also, If you can find pomegrate (anar) that taste sooo good in salads!!! I had my mom buy me an entire case and would put up about 4-5 pomagrates a day and then use them for a couple days until they finished. There crunchy and so refreshing in salads. Also, you can try throwing in some nuts. Im sure thats going to be good too. XOXO

I've never tried Feta cheese in my salads! Is it good? It looks so dry.

I am a big fan of vegetables regardless of them being sweet or whatever, turnips is another one of them. There's nothing like shaljam gosht, yum.

Cous cous is a nice addition to salads. I normally mix some cous cous with cucumbers, olives, red peppers, cherry tomatoes, sundried tomatoes and with a drizzle of olive oil.Season it and add some dried herbs too.
Quite refreshing and light.
